Background
to ABT:
Australian
Bream Tournaments (ABT) runs a series of successful live weigh
in and release tournaments across Australia, where the promotion
of ethical and enjoyable fishing occurs. The events not only
results in minimal environmental impact to the waterways in
which they are run but they also deliver a range of benefits
and advantages to the local and broader community.
Economically the tournaments bring with them an injection of income that is experienced
by business within the tackle and boating industry, as well as those outside
the sector, such as accommodation providers, food and berverage outlets.
