1. BEX Tweed Business Excellence Awards
An initiative of the Tweed, Murwillumbah, Pottsville Chambers of Commerce and the Tweed Coast Business Chamber.
The BEX Awards presents the very first time an all-encompassing Tweed Shire business awards promotion. These awards will recognise and reward those local businesses that do this region proud through adopting excellence in a variety of pre-determined categories.
The BEX Awards will take place on the night of June 27, 2003 at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club.

2. Tourism Awards for Business Excellence
Co hosted by Northern Rivers Tourism & Northern Rivers Regional Development Board in association with Tourism NSW.
This annual event allows the Tourism Industry Operators to gain recognition for their efforts throughout the last financial year.

The NSW Tourism Awards are the next level and winners from the Regional Awards Night are eligible to enter. This event is held in Sydney.

The National Tourism Awards is the final level of achievement for the Tourism operators.
