April

2nd Leiderfest - A festival of the great German song tradition, comprising of recitals, workshops and tuition
for singers and pianists. All sessions during the weekend are opened to the public.Venue: Old Teachers College Cnr Mossman and Dangar St's

2-4th Armidale Recorder Society weekend this is a weekend recorder workshop with Kara Ciezki, Kara has win the National Recorder competition.

2-3rd University of New England Graduation Ceremonies.
3rd Campus to City Canter Conducted by the Armidale Athletics Club Starting at the Consett Davis Oval at the University of New England and into the City Centre finishing at the creek lands. There will be a bus at the Visitor Information Centre from 7.00am to take passengers to the UNE for the start of the run.

3rd Armidale Autumn Festival Parade and picnic in the park. A fun day for all ages with a parade of floats thru the CBD finishing at Civic Park where there will be a variety of entertainment, food stalls and craft.

8th World Series Dining South American - Armidale Ex- Serviceman's Club for reservations call 6772 1366.

9th GOOD FRIDAY Armidale Visitor Information Centre will be opened from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

12th EASTER MONDAY - Armidale Visitor Information Centre is opened from 10.00am -4.00pm.

25th Anzac Day Armidale Visitor Information Centre opened from 10.00am - 4.00pm.


May 2004

7-9th Wool Expo - New England's Premier wool event, Showcasing all aspects of the wool and fibre industry
from fleece to fashion, this will incorporate the National Yard Dog Championships and the regional Alpaca Championships.

15th Special Olympics State Athletics Carnival - This event is usually held in Sydney suburbs all states are being nvited so this should be a fabulous weekend starting time is 9.30am for the official opening.
