Waterfall Way Towns Hungry Head
Bellingen Shire has extraordinary rainforests and eucalypt forests that stretch down from the mountains to the sea at Hungry Head, setting it apart from all other N.S.W. North Coast shires.

Of special appeal is the shaded walk through ancient melaleucas (ti-trees) to the secluded Hungry Head and Dalhousie Creek estuary.

A feature of the Hungry Head Nature Reserve is the rare littoral rainforest sheltered behind the surf club and observation platform only minutes from the cabins.

Kangaroos, wallabies possums and bandicoots, kookaburras and many other species of birds frequent the cabin area.
