The
Southern Gold Coast Media Campaign was launched at The Stars Room, Twin
Towns Ex-Services Club on Wednesday, March, 13th, 2002. Local members of the Aussie Gateways network and accompanying guests gathered to view the television commercials and celebrate the launch of the first Southern Gold Coast cooperative media campaign. |

A power point
presentation was given to show the results of surveys gathered at workshops
and collected from individual tourism industry operators in the region.
The preferred focus of the commercials was "rest and relaxation,"
"family activities" and a "clean and green natural environment."
Hence, each commercial reflected these very positive aspects of holidaying
on the Southern Gold Coast. |
