EELS OFF TO BRUNSWICK HEADS

The Parramatta Eels will use Brunswick Heads as their base for a week long camp ahead of the start of the 2004 Telstra Premiership.

Following the trial against the Sharks in Ballina on 14 February, the Eels will spend a week in heavy training before their second trial, against the Warriors at Carrara on 21 February.

The Eels will use the facilities of the Mullumbimby Giants during the week that they will also spend promoting the game through school and junior league clinics, as well as local business promotions and “coach the coaches” forums.

The Mullumbimby Giants have a rich history in Rugby league, after being founded in 1903.
