The Aussie Gateways Project will take place at
a number of locations throughout the Northern
Rivers Region commencing on August 16, 2001. The workshops will be held on a Thursday morning commencing at 9.30am - Registrations at 9.00am and concluding at 12.30pm with a light lunch. All tourism industry operators are invited to attend in order to register your establishments for inclusion in tour packages and suggested day trips for visitors. These packages and day trips will be showcased on the Aussie Gateways web portal and will benefit from cooperative media advertising campaigns including television, radio & print media. |
| The Aussie Gateways Project has received Federal Government funding from the Dept. of Industry, Science & Resources and is supported by Northern Rivers Tourism. Its primary aim is to nurture tourism in the Northern Rivers region by dispersing visitors to many localities and establishments in this vibrant tourism corridor. |
